My memories of Cork, city of bridges,  include, smoked salmon on and cucumber sandwich i n a second floor alley cafe, Murphy's pub and loud Irish trad. music,  chatting with young travellers staying at Sheila's travellers hostel, the art in the Crawford Art Gallery, the carrot cake in the gallery cafe, the Russian born busker playing Minsteral Boy on an electric guitar,
I left Cork by way of the beautiful Lee River valley and made my to Blarney and the famous Castle and stone. Walking through the castle was a walk back on time. Surrounding the castle are the Poison  Garden, Fern Garden, and Rock Garden.
